There is a slight incongruity in some of our jobs where we want to advance with completing our priorities/tasks, but we also want to ensure that we report on our advancements in all existing project tools and files for our work to be visible. But reporting takes too much time.

Unless we stop the micromanagement, we cannot be productive. We’ll be more preoccupied with proving our work than with working.

Solutions that I see: trust and autonomy. And the productivity will stay, the results will be visible.
