Better ginger than sorry
Attention! This is an anecdote.
Every year or so I have a tonsillitis episode. I tend to think it’s usually viral and not bacterial. But what do I know?
I had tonsillitis three years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. I was very cautious about my health, so I decided to drink ginger tea knowing it is anti-inflammatory, to prevent using meds. And guess what? It stopped hurting. The benefits of ginger are no novelty, but somehow, shortcuts always sound better.
Since then, every time I have the mildest sore throat, I don’t think twice, I start drinking ginger tea – loaaads. Nowadays, I make a nice mix of ginger, lemon, mint and raw honey.👌🏻
